JOB EXPERIENCE

2020 - Project manager and campaign consultant

Since 2020, I work on web development and digital communication projects as a freelance project manager and consultant: I coordinate website development projects, build websites for personal branding and plan online and offline campaigns.

2018 - 2019 Campaigns director at aHang platform

I was a co-founder of aHang platform (‘the Voice’) since it was established in February 2018. I worked on creating complex cross-sectoral projects to rapidly maximise the platform’s outreach and social impact. We built a strong 188K membership online with issue-based campaigning during a two-year period in Hungary. I coordinated campaigns combining digital tools and mass communication practices. I was responsible for integrating theVoice to the framework of multinational campaigning organisations and change-makers (OPEN Network). I supervised and managed a team of three campaigners, and represented the organisation as a spokesperson.

2016 - 2018 Managing director at Krétakör Foundation

I served as CEO for Krétakör Foundation, taking over the management of the organization during a very turbulent period. My mandate was crisis management and transformation of the organisation’s mission. Krétakör was a training hub and former independent theatre company in Hungary. Under my leadership the foundation’s cultural activities revolved around interpreting the ongoing cultural and social crisis in Hungary, including the blunt political attacks dissident NGOs had suffered from the government - Krétakör included. I represented the Foundation in national and international media, professional forums and conferences. The maximum number of employees I managed were six.

2013 - 2016 Cultural manager at Péter Eötvös Foundation for Contemporary Music

I organized extracurricular training and festivals for young conductors, composers and musicians from 2013 to 2016 in Hungary and Europe. As an event manager, I coordinated the coproductions of the Péter Eötvös Foundation’s and the Budapest Music Centre, the Out at S.E.A. chamber opera production which debuted in more than three venues in Europe.

2008 – 2016 Project coordination, event organisation in the non-profit sector

Since 2008,I was working project-based with Hungarian NGOs (Association of Independent Performing Arts, Greenpeace Hungary, Protect the Future) and managed small to medium-size programs and public events with up to 500 attendees. Partners/supporters were among others: EEA and Norway Grants, Goethe Institute Budapest, Green European Foundation, the Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, and the Heirinch Böll Stiftung, Prag.

Summary

I am a manager specialised in digital communication and organising. My main area of interest is horizontal branding and building narratives that focus on awareness and turns it into action. I have spent six years as managing director and campaigns director at various non-profit organisations. I have coordinated numerous cultural and educational projects for Budapest-based organisations: trainings, festivals, mass public events.
